Commemorating the 20th year since Ayrton Senna’s passing in 2014, Dutchman Hans van der Schroeff and British artist Ian Berry collaborated with the Ayrton Senna Institute to reveal a unique portrait of Ayrton Senna crafted entirely of denim jeans.
The iconic work of art has been made using jeans from Ayrton Senna’s family. They gave them to Ian to create the portrait so he could intertwine the family into the piece of their beloved Ayrton that also celebrates the work they do with the Ayrton Senna Institute.
Ayrton was a man of the people, and his legacy is still as strong as ever today. 1960 pieces have been commissioned, and the inspired fan is presented with the opportunity to own their very own limited edition version of the Ayrton Senna Sempre Portrait.
Many months of careful thought and reflection were spent developing the technique to create a museum standard quality art piece with the fabric denim, using an attention to detail similar to Ayrton’s own personal ethos.
The Art Edition collection is limited to only 1960 pieces worldwide. Make sure you’ll be the owner of one of the limited Art Editions.
